I just imagined a character who uses Britney Spears song titles to hit on women. Has it been done?
It probably has been done…
I’m thinking the first skit would be this guy blatantly using those titles without understanding how dorky it is.
The second skit will have him alone, observing a more attractive guy doing the same thing and being successful. [Should it be the same person that the protagonist has hit on before, or someone new to the skit?]
The joke being that those who are generally more attractive can appear stupid, dorky, and unoriginal and still be attractive.
As opposed to a person who is generally less attractive being punished for showing a tender part of himself. [By this, I meant that he's trying his damnedest to get the attention of a possible sexual partner, even if it means doing something as fucking stupid as this.]
It also leans on the reality of double-meaning in Spears’ latest songs, with a persona all about sex and a persona begging for attention.
